#Techedona ride: Time and Duration
Posted October 2, 2009 by Amit BendovCategories: Uncategorized
Hi All,
I got a lot of questions about the timing of the techedona ride. I’ll try to address them here.
The plan is to start at 7:30am and finish by 10:30 am the latest. This should be ample time for a nice trail at with a few stops and rests. We’ll fine tune the exact time next week- so sign up for the updates feed.
Sedona is about two hours drive from Phoenix so you could be back in Phoenix around Noon. If you are not in a hurry though, Plan A is to hang out in Sedona for some ice Lattes.
In the next post I’ll answer some questions about bike rentals.
Sedona Mountain Bike Ride – Sat Oct 17th
Posted October 1, 2009 by Amit BendovCategories: Uncategorized
If you are attending SAP Teched in Phoenix, you are invited to join a group bike ride in “Red Rock Country” of Sedona AZ- one of the most amazing Martian places on earth. A bunch of us Teched goers intend to rent mountain bikes from local bike shops and hit the trail early Saturday Morning. We will decide on the exact trail and difficulty level based on the level of the group members; In any event, it will NOT be extreme riding. To be clear, although I am with Panaya, this ride is my personal initiative and is not endorsed, funded, or associated with Panaya. It’s what I enjoy doing, and being near Sedona is too big an opportunity to pass on. I’ll be using this blog to update on details, logistics, bike rentals, etc so I’d recommend signing up for the RSS feed and/or follow #techedona on Twitter.
